SAMS-E Help Desk Technician

Seeking full time Help Desk Technician. Must have military experience in Army Maintenance Procedures. Technician must possess SAMS-E experience.

Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. May route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

Supply experience is also helpful. Technician must have the capability to become a subject matter expert for new software being deployed. Applicant must be computer literate and have knowledge of system connectivity, architecture, operating systems and databases. Applicant must have the capability of providing detailed and accurate documentation on problem resolution (have good speaking and writing skills).

Looking for a team player with the ability to provide quality customer service, be self-motivated and have the initiative to get the job done with a good attitude. Some travel may be required.
